Is a marriage license provided by Gulf Shores Wedding Chapel?

The State of Alabama requires that a registration form be filled out and Notarized by a licensed Notary and filed with a Probate Judge in any county in Alabama within 30 days of ceremony.  There is no need to go to a Probate Office before or after your ceremony.  The Wedding Chapel will work with you to get this accomplished.

Do both the bride and groom have to be present to purchase the wedding license?

Can I have my own minister perform the ceremony?

Yes, we are happy to work with your minister.

Is it possible to have our wedding at the beach?

Yes, we will be glad to arrange your wedding at your location at the beach or we can recommend a beach location for you.

May we add on time to our wedding and/or reception?

Yes, we will work to accommodate your needs.

How many can be accommodated at Gulf Shores Wedding Chapel and reception hall?

Up to 100 in the Chapel and up to 100 for outdoor or Beach wedding. We can accommodate up to 100 for the reception.

Can we serve alcohol at our reception?

Yes, talk with us for details.

Can we have a horse and carriage?

Yes, we have a vendor partner through whom we provide a white, horse-drawn carriage for the bride to enter before the ceremony on and/or for the bride and groom to depart on after the reception.

Would a tent be available?

Yes, we have tents available through rental companies for use on our grounds.

How can I book my wedding and/or reception?

Confirm a date with us and pay a non-refundable retainer to reserve your date.

What happens if it rains on the day of my outdoor or beach wedding?

If your reception is booked with us, we automatically reserve the Chapel as your rain plan. If you do not have a reception with us, we will always work with you to plan another time for your wedding if our Chapel is not available.
